DIY U47 and C12

DIY U47 and C12

Postby lampas » Sun Apr 11, 2010 9:19 pm

Hi,

a few years ago I bought a mechanical kits for U47 and C12 and these days I finally managed to get all parts for them,
but I don't know how to properly assemble them. Of course I could wire them in "my way" but I would like to
connect all parts as the original ones are. I don't have access to originals so I would like to know does exist photos or
pictures how to properly put them together ?

Thanx.

Well,

that definitively is not good news, because my decision to buy these parts was mostly based from statement on your site,
that somewhere in the future you will put here plans, how to build your own U47... :(

Hi lampas,

I am really sorry, but we are not conscious that we ever stated this information at our website.
Plans and connection schemes are the kind secret for the manufacturing companies, and without any doubts,
no companies do publish their secrets.

Thank you for understanding.

Best wishes,
Ivan

If you Google AKG C12 you should be able to find plenty of pictures of disassembled C12s. I have many in my archive for reference. You can also get the original schematic in this way. With the two it shouldn't be difficult to figure where everything goes. I am new to the forum, if you can't find this info, and PMs are allowed, PM me and I will send you jpegs.

Best,

Kev
